About Bronco Fence: Northern Utah’s Trusted Fencing Authority
A Legacy of Craftsmanship Along the Wasatch Front
The history of Bronco Fence is built on decades of hands-on experience right here in Northern Utah. Our founder, Bryan Bourne, grew up in the local fencing industry. Over 25 years ago, his parents, Richard and Loraine Bourne, established R&L Fencing & Deck. Bryan learned the trade by doing the hard work: moving materials in the yard, mastering fabrication in the shop, and eventually managing the day-to-day operations.
After owning R&L Fencing starting in 2003, Bryan took a short break in the financial sector before returning to his true passion: building high-quality fences. He founded Bronco Fence to provide homeowners and businesses from Kaysville to Ogden with durable boundaries engineered for our specific climate.

Why Bronco Fence Does Installation Differently
In an industry full of “standard” solutions, we pride ourselves on being a technical authority. We don’t just set posts; we engineer long-term security.
1. Materials Engineered for Utah: Based in Kaysville, we know that Davis County fences face unique challenges. We source professional-grade Vinyl, Trex, and Cedar that can handle intense high-elevation UV rays and the extreme freeze-thaw cycles of our winters.
2. The Gephardt Approved Promise: We are a Gephardt Approved contractor. This is more than a badge. It is our promise of transparency. Our motto is “Quality Set in Concrete,” which means our estimates are honest, our materials are superior, and our labor is guaranteed.
3. Local Roots: Our team lives where we work. We understand the HOA requirements in West Point, the wind-load needs of the Kaysville benches, and the historical standards in Ogden’s older neighborhoods.

Our Commitment to Davis, Weber, and Morgan Counties
From our headquarters in Kaysville and our service hub in Ogden, Bronco Fence has a specialized focus on serving:
- Davis County: Including Layton, Farmington, Syracuse, Clinton, and Clearfield.
- Weber County: Including South Ogden, North Ogden, Roy, Riverdale, and West Haven.
- Morgan County: Enterprise, Peterson, Mountain Green
Whether we are installing a vinyl fence in Layton or an ornamental iron gate in the Ogden foothills, our approach remains the same: treat every property as if it were our own.

Meet the Team & Our Values
Under Bryan’s leadership, the Bronco Fence team is comprised of career professionals. We don’t use “fly-by-night” crews. Our installers are trained in our specific “Frost-Line Precision” methodology, ensuring that every post we set stays straight for decades.
Our Core Values (The Bronco Code)
To achieve our mission, every member of the Bronco Fence team operates under a specific set of guiding principles:
- Engineering-First Approach: We prioritize structural integrity. This includes calculating wind loads for Layton and ensuring every post is set at a 24-inch depth to beat the frost line.
- Radical Transparency: From the first on-site estimate in Farmington to the final walkthrough in Syracuse, we communicate clearly. There are no hidden fees or surprise costs.
- Environmental Responsibility: We advocate for materials that respect the Utah landscape. By specializing in long-lasting composites and sustainably sourced woods, we reduce the lifecycle waste associated with frequent fence replacements.
- Local Expertise: We are not a national franchise. We are a local business that understands the specific soil types of the Ogden East Bench and the regulations in Fruit Heights.
The Bronco Fence Mission: Quality Set in Concrete

Our mission is simple yet unwavering: To provide Northern Utah homeowners and businesses with the most durable, aesthetically superior fencing solutions through unparalleled local expertise and honest craftsmanship.
At Bronco Fence, we don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” fencing. We recognize that our clients in Kaysville, Layton, and Ogden are looking for more than just a property line; they are looking for security, privacy, and a long-term increase in property value. Our mission is to ensure that every foot of fencing we install—whether it is professional-grade vinyl or custom ornamental iron—is engineered to outlast the harsh Wasatch Front climate.
Our Vision for Northern Utah
Our vision is to remain the definitive fencing entity for Northern Utah and Weber and Morgan Counties. We strive to set the industry standard for “High-Altitude Installation,” moving the needle away from cheap, retail-grade materials toward sustainable, lifetime solutions like Trex Composite and Cedar. We envision a Northern Utah landscape where every fence is a testament to quality, resisting the heavy snowpacks of Ogden and the canyon winds of the Kaysville benches.
